Review of Morning Glory (1933) by Ingrid G — 11 Aug 2010
Hepburn is good, but the story isn't. The story is overly simple and barely has an ending. Hepburn plays an aspiring actor in New York who works her way onto Broadway just by being an eccentric, talkative, and friendly girl.
We don't learn much about her character, and what we do learn doesn't always seem sincere. I didn't understand the ending, if that was actually an ending, as it does nothing to resolve anything.
I would only recommend this to fans of the cast, because this movie feels so void.
