If you are familiar with Jeff Nichols work like take shelter, this is a very similar movie in directing style only. I've read that many people were not happy with the ending. I agree, in a way, that the movie could have taken many different paths, but I was not unhappy with the ending at all.
I thought it was a very original movie and kept you wondering the entire movie.
