Review of M (1931) by Marcus M — 12 Apr 2010
Peter Lorre excels as the creepy psychologically tortured child killer. The plot more based around the schemes police and criminals use to hunt down the killer. The police use forensics, the criminals use beggars.
Fritz Lang makes great use of sound, and there is no music, although the only tune used "In the Hall of the Mountain King" never sounded so menacing.
