I was expecting big things of this, and, do not get me wrong, on some fronts it does deliver. But, and it is a big but, if you are going to make a gritty, 'real' drama like this you cannot drop in formulaic, sugar coated plot drivers to make it all go swimmingly.
Started off as a good idea but I ultimately felt let down by Williams lack of conviction to see this story through.
