Review of London to Brighton (2006) by Bill B — 18 Sep 2009
The story of a hooker's attempt to save a young runaway that she was coerced into recruiting to bring to a very rich man for sexual favors. This film takes place over the course of about a day and a half and follows them from London to Brighton where they attempt to hide out and piece together a plan, pursued by her pimp and his right hand man.
The narrative is told in a nonlinear fashion, but easily comes together in the short running time. This is a pretty decent film, though I don't know if it'd hold up on multiple viewings.
Worth a look once, but nothing you'd need to watch over and over.
