Review of London to Brighton (2006) by Nikolas G — 19 Nov 2010
This movie is OUTSTANDING and quite masterfully done. Actually it's almost too well done and too realistic, considering the dark and grim subject matter... where you pray they pull some punches and it fades to black and it was just a dream, and your NOT watching a HARD movie about poverty, prostitution, and sex trafficking of minors.
The movie is brilliantly crafted, and has all the fat trimmed of it. its like 80 minutes, with no drawn out melodrama. Everything scene. All the dialog. All the editing is constant and smoothly pushing the story forward... unraveling the mystery...and building up the tension the ultimate calamity in the end. VERDICT: A Satisfying Movie.
