Review of London to Brighton (2006) by Amélie B — 17 Aug 2009
A simple, yet suspenseful thriller about a prostitute ordered to find a 11-13 year old girl for a wealthy customer, but what follows is a chase from London to Brighton. This is an easy, well maybe not easy, film to watch.
It's straight forward and needs no explanation. The problem I had with the movie, is that I have seen a dozen of these types of movies. Not necessarily with prostitutes, but just the way the film was done.
It's sort of a "been there, done that" routine. I do recommend the film though. It's good for a single watch, but not something I can just pop in and watch again and again.
