Review of Logan's Run (1976) by Trevor C — 16 Jul 2010
I understand that this is a sci-fi classic and has a huge cult following, but there was very little impressive quality to it. even for the time of which it was made the special effects and set pieces were very unimpressive, and, at times, laughable.
the story is good, but it just wasn't executed very well, and the acting was iffy and the extreme length didn't help either. I did enjoy its attempt to be something bizarre and original, but eventually I found it merely unrealistic and, at times, it seemed like a extremely soft core porno (such times being the random orgy room scene or undressing for the sake of survival).
I could barely find anything to enjoy in this movie, and the only reason why i'm giving it a fresh rating is because of that hilarious old dude that they find.
