Review of Life Is Beautiful (1997) by Matthew E — 30 May 2013
Life is Beautiful is a film of two parts. The first offers some wonderful physical comedy, whilst initiating and developing the relationships that truly make this film a success. The second is much darker in nature, depicting one man's struggle to shield his son from the brutal realities of the German death camp in which they are imprisoned.
A true modern classic.
