Shamefully, its the first Antonioni film I've seen.... but it certainly won't be the last. "L'Avventura" takes its sweet subtle time and as long as Monica Vitti is on-screen, its absolutely fine with me. Seriously, Antonioni tells a mature love story that manages to negate romantic love. Hmmmn.
The film is also quite the statement about the discontented wealthy. ......
Ummmmmm, Monica Vitti's hot.
