Review of La Strada (1954) by Anthony I — 12 Sep 2015
I wasn't expecting that horrible left turn. Fellini, you've broken my heart. But you've done it in such a fantastic way. La Strada is cinematic opera. The best film of the twilight era of Italian Neorealism.
Also, if out of the clear blue, I can pick one of the characters I loved to hate the most in a movie, its Zampano. What an brute.
