Review of La Strada (1954) by Carreh R — 02 Nov 2015
Cornerstone of the Fellini body of work, this film left me , at first, completely lost. I think the first time I saw it, I felt depressed and was so angry with that son of a bitch Zampano, I could not get over how he treated the adorable Gelsomina.
After studying he film for school though, it became clear the film is indeed fantastic and a real film experience. After watching it a few times, I have come to really enjoy it. Sometimes , films can be tough to get into but once you accept their reality , it's a fun trip.
