“Kiss the Ground” has a huge reservoir of information to impart to the viewer, and it manages to do so without feeling overbearing. Directed by independent filmmakers Joshua and Rebecca Tickell and narrated by Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground focuses on a simplistic solution to our climate change problem: our soil.
Its spirited delivery, strong message, and resistance to politicization allow its message about the power of regenerative agriculture to truly resonate with the viewer. Throw in thousands of hours of research, celebrity cameos, and innovative graphics and you have a film that will appeal to a wide range of audiences; the issues presented in the film are multi-faceted, but never out of reach.
Kiss the ground is a documentary that transcends the genre, inspiring optimism and hope in all who watch it.
