The award-winning Netflix documentary “Kiss the Ground” brought attention to Regenerative Agriculture, making it a very unique and captivating experience. This documentary is unlike any other in the sense that it discusses the most important thing we need to restore before we do anything else is simply the soil.

The directors Josh and Rebecca Tickell described its message by stressing the strong connection between human’s health and our planets. With the help of Woody Harrelson’s optimistic tone, these crucial solutions are not as far-fetched as we may think.

It all boils down to understanding and supporting the holistic framework of Regenerative agriculture. It causes the least disruption to the soil by maximizing photosynthesis, feeding microbes, protecting topsoil, replenishing the nutrient cycle for livestock and increasing the functionality of the ecosystem as a whole.

They are not only including how Regenerative ranchers rehabilitate their soil for massive amounts of land, but they also show how an average person can utilize their own garbage to help save our planet from desertification.

This genius documentary turned a serious crisis into an encouraging invitation to become a part of how we will end this crisis because all humans are capable of it.
