Review of Kiss the Ground (2020) by Allisonedwards — 25 May 2021
Kiss The Ground is a revolutionary documentary with a stellar combination of meaningful narrations, mesmerizing camera work, and insightful animations. Directors, Rebecca Harrell Tickell and Josh Tickell, notably pour their passion into every element of this Film.
Their passion was matched through the heartfelt narration of Woody Harrelson; Who provided the film with a simplified and hopeful illustration of a complex subject. His consoling dictation paired quite well with the active camera work of the film.
He clearly expresses how this film influenced his own change of heart on the subject and how it gives faith in change to the common folk .The engaging sequences of transfixing landscapes and lively animation were a highlight of the film.
It enhanced the concept of placing carbon dioxide back into the soil on a new level. Being able to visualize the approach of regeneration elevated the film's devotion and credibility. The ability to translate the passion of regeneration of our lands into a hypnotizing cinematography piece is remarkable.
This film will become a household example of how the average person initiates healing and becomes the change we need.
