Review of Kiss the Ground (2020) by Laylatorres — 14 Jan 2021
Kiss the Ground effectively provides a new perspective on not only stopping, but reversing the effects of climate change. Directors Rebecca and Josh Tickell effectively convey an optimistic and easy to comprehend message on a very controversial topic.
Hearing and seeing from experts and farmers how regenerative agriculture can save the earth’s topsoil has given me hope for our planet’s future. “The focus has been on fixing the air above us, but the dirt beneath our feet is just as crucial”.
Woody Harrelson’s narration emotionally explains how we can make a difference in our own home by ways such as composting and having a plant-rich diet. Overall, this film has enriched my knowledge of agriculture and climate change and inspired me to start saving our planet from home.
