Review of King Solomon's Mines (1950) by Aren B — 01 Oct 2010
The authentic African atmosphere is innovative for a 1950s studio picture. The use of traditional African tribal dances and rituals add a level of realism to the film that wouldnâ??t be found in other adaptations of the novel.
Still, for an adaptation of "King Solomonâ??s Mines," this hardly qualifies as a version of "King Solomonâ??s Mines.".
