Review of King Solomon's Mines (1950) by Napoleon R — 26 Dec 2008
This action-adventure boasts as one of the first few productions shot on location. Granger is a perfect Quartermain and Kerr has never been lovelier. It would have better with a longer screen time specially in the section where Quartermain and company finally reached the mines.
It's only flaw is its utter disregard to animal rights however it was filmed 20 years before animal rights activism has began to receive support and acceptance.
