Review of Jason and the Argonauts (1963) by Gergely K — 17 Mar 2011
One of the true cinematic greats. Ray Harryhausen is one of my movie heroes as he created some truly believable stop motion effects, It may look old compared to todays CGI but you have to remember this film is almost 50 years old.
Based on the greek myths, this follows Jason as he sets out to find the Golden Fleece. It also contains sword fighting skeletons. A must see for anyone who calls themselves a film buff. 8/10.
