Review of Jason and the Argonauts (1963) by Andrew C — 25 May 2014
Its a film you watch as a film maker to study the ground breaking special effects of the late great Ray Harryhausen. It is a film you need to place firmly when it was made and evaluate it as if you were watching it in 1963.
The adventure is fun and the acting average to above average. But, what you watch for is the Harryhausen special effects and what he was able to achieve at the time he was working.
