An interesting directorial debut from the master actor Philip Seymour Hoffman. Its kind of a throwback to a film you'd see in the 70s. Smaller films that focus more on character and avoid conventional scenes for the genre they're in.
The acting across the board is very good, Hoffman takes the cake like alway. I had no clue what to expect from this but I needed a little more meat to this film.
