Review of He Knows You're Alone (1980) by Lisa S — 27 Nov 2011
So strange...i keep swearing I reviewed this...
This was one of my first early 80's slasher viewings. well to start I feel it would work better as a psychological thriller than a slasher. the opening at the theater was FANTASTIC! the rest of the film is pretty good. even the ending (not in the script--mind you) in which you can tell that the chain will continue again. the score and a couple scenes are too reminiscent of the Carpenter classic Halloween. I think this is looked down upon due to the lack of blood. but I say who cares! I like gore--especially 80's gore but this didnt need it. it would've given this a cheap sleeze feel. I think this was well made and acted. and its characters are actually cared for. I felt kinda .____. when they started to die off.
