Review of He Knows You're Alone (1980) by Janice P — 02 Nov 2016
Way better than average slash 'em up with Caitlin O'Heaney and Don Scardino making for two very likable leads. While the score and some of the set pieces blatantly ape Halloween, He Knows You're Alone has enough going for itself that you never really notice.
There are some genuinely hair raising moments and edge of your seat suspense throughout. Plus, not only do you get Tom Hanks' screen debut, but you also get a cast full of likable and interesting performers that you want to root for.
A great film for Halloween or a gloomy Friday evening. An underrated gem!
