Review of He Knows You're Alone (1980) by Orlok W — 01 Aug 2013
O f course, "He Knows You're Alone" is another slasher movie of the 80's: a serial killer targets a group of fresh-faced women and kills them one by one. Only this time, he kills brides-to-be.
The movie isn't terrific. However, it benefits from the less-is-more formula, a newly unmasked killer that manages to get a sense of dread out of the viewer, and a likeable cast, especially Caitlin O'Heaney as Amy and Don Scardino as her humorous ex Marvin.
Plus, check out Tom Hanks in his first movie. Not great, but definitely not bad.
