This sequel brings back the killer and his determined pursuer, Dr. Loomis, as well as his victim Laurie and provides some explanation for Michael Myers' choice of victims. It's quite good for a sequel though fails to live up to the high bar set by the original film, a masterpiece of the genre without question.
