Review of Gregory's Girl (1980) by Andy S — 04 Apr 2009
Very charming and nostalgic film. One of my favourites, always cheers me up when i'm feeling down. The cast were spot on and just had a quality that is lost in films these days. The music is badly dated and the budget was very low, but it's what I like about it.
Avoid the sequel at all costs! Saw a reunion documentary on BBC called Movie Connections and was a real pleasure seeing what the cast were up to these days. A good British classic that'll never tire.
