Just saw it again....this time on BluRay.....completely restored in all his Tehnicolor glory. What to write about movie that isn't already written. Probably the best movie of all time and surely the most seen movie of all time.
The way it was made it's legend, just like a movie. It took four directors to finish this movie (one got mental breakdown), the searching for Scarlett is consider to be the biggest search in movie history.
....it is pure luck that this movie came to be finished at all considering what a maniac O. Selznick really was...but at the end the result was breathtaking....amazingly filmed with one of the biggest sets ever built, production so complex that even today it is hard to reach that level.
...and above all, brilliant preformences and amazing story....the result.....probably the most beloved movie of all time awarded with 8 Oscars including the Best Picture, Best Direction, Best Leading Actress and Best Supporting Actress which was Hattie McDaniel, first African-American to ever get and Oscar.
