Review of Godzilla vs. Megaguirus (2000) by Gus S — 20 May 2008

A very sleek-looking Godzilla returns to battle a giant bug (which is supposedly based of the ant-things in Rodan). Though this movie is part of the "Millennium Series" it ignores every movie since the original and makes up Godzilla history, which is annoying.

But, Megaguirus is cool (though he could have been animated better) and has some good fights with Godzilla. The problem, the movie seems to contradict itself saying that the monster was a bug which mutated during the black hole experiment (which makes no sense) then later claims that the bug is a prehistoric species; make up your mind!
