Review of Gettysburg (1993) by Eric A — 12 Feb 2008
Simply the best U.S. Civil War movie around. Gives equal time to the North and South, great score, great production, great performances. And the re-releases with the cut content are even better! Obviously the history isn't 100% becuase it's a Hollywood production but it's close enough to be mostly accurate, at least as far as a film will get.
