Extremely long, but worth it. Jeff Daniels is a revelation as Colonel Joshua Chamberlain, especially during the battle scenes on Little Round Top, and Richard Jordan simply breaks your heart as Lo Armistead.
Very well done, but make sure you're in a comfortable chair.
