Review of Gettysburg (1993) by Paul M — 07 Aug 2016

I love this movie. This is one of my top 5 favorite movies. I am, I will admit, a Civil War Enthusiast, having roots in Union side of the conflict through my ancestors. This is a LONG movie, perhaps its greatest drawback, but it never fails to entertain.

Great action, compelling characters. Remember Col Quartich from Avatar, the same actor plays an important role here, Gen Pickett of the south. Great actors, great performances, interesting subplots. It's a great movie.
