Really great, highly professional British film-making. No frills, just story, content, action, and character. A little dry, a little complicated, but an iconic depiction of organized crime intrigue in 1970s England.
Michael Caine gives a fantastic early performance, using his ultimate screen trick "Less is More." Very slick film.
