Review of Get Carter (1971) by Gary S — 21 Apr 2009
Bleak and uncomprimising. Found myself sympathising with Carter initially (bad boy, but was avenging his murdered, law abiding brother). As the film goes on though you realise he was a git to his brother as well.
He is just using his brother's death to be the evil sadist that he is. Was glad when "J" shot him at the end. Could not happen to a nicer person.
