Review of Gaslight (1944) by Michael K — 19 Jul 2012
What an excellent suspense drama for anyone that is interested in the molding of todays mystery movies and shows. Ingrid Bergman is beyond excellent as a new bride that things she is loosing her mind. She hears noises and things move in this new house her new husband has moved her into.
Charles Boyer trys to make her think she is loosing her mind. Also note, Angela Landsburg plays an excellent role as a housekeeper in the house. Interesting, she makes a very blantant "pass" at the man of the house, Charles Boyer.
