The best casting job I have ever seen. Susanne Lothar, Ulrich Muhe, and Arno Frisch give outstanding performances. The screenplay is raw, realistic, and the lingering camera shots accompany the haunting premise to perfection.
Hollywood could never pull off something as fantastic as this.
