Review of From Here to Eternity (1953) by Al D — 07 Nov 2007
Takes its time, but the entangled personal lives of the soldiers left to stew in their army camp before Pearl Harbour's fateful bombing, their hopes, loves, and fortunes, make for engaging viewing.
Great performances from Clift, Lancaster, and Sinatra.
