Starring Burt Lancaster, Deborah Kerr, Montgomery Clift, Donna Reed and Frank Sinatra. Big but involving study of what happens when a group of people are forced to live in close quarters. The place is Pearl Harbor leading up to the U.
S. involvement in WWII. Lancaster and Kerr embracing on the beach is one of the iconic images of film, and it epitomizes the passion and lust which drives this film. Directed by Fred Zinnemann.
