Review of From Here to Eternity (1953) by Alden S — 14 Dec 2016

Overly long with a cliche plot and characters whose goals and desires aren't very noble or worth caring about. The acting is good and it has some mild moments of humor, but the love stories are all insanely rushed and a lot of it relies on emotional pandering to the audience based on the character's circumstances.

Not particularly boring, but an overrated film none the less.
