Review of Fear X (2003) by Brett M — 18 May 2008
I wasn't a fan of the editing or the directing...evidently Refn thought he needed to use only two shots in this film, a wide and a tracking. Other than that I was captivated by the story line from the get go because I wanted to know what the heck was going on.
At the end I did feel a little unfulfilled. I do believe it had the potential to be better and as always I enjoyed Turturro's performance and I think this was a good role for him. Overall this one would be worth a rent before buying it.
