Review of Fair Game (2010) by Thomas J — 23 Sep 2011
Interesting, well acted political thriller based on the true story of outed CIA agent Valerie Plame. It's a bit slow paced, but director Doug Liman ("The Bourne Identity", "Mr. & Mrs.
Smith") maintains interest throughout. Naomi Watts is excellent as Valerie (and even resembles her real life counterpart) and Sean Penn gives a great performance as her husband Joseph Wilson. The only bad thing about the film is that the parts where a foreign language is spoken, the subtitles are small and difficult to read.
Besides that quibble, this is well worth watching.
