Review of Fair Game (2010) by Jeroen V — 05 Dec 2013
The first act is somewhat soft, particularly with disengaged acting. It picks up a bit after that especially with the duality of Watts' Valerie, who wants to remain loyal to her country, runs into Penn's Joe, who wants to fight their orchestrated downfall. I also like the dinner table scenes, as that's us, the audience. It makes us a little more engaged seeing ourselves on screen, rambling on like we know things, but what do we really know?
It's not the greatest political thriller, but it's good that the story is out there. It's message can be heard.
