The "critics" almost always succeed in making me laugh at their ratings. They're either extremely overrated (usually with big movie companies) or underrated (as with this movie). Event Horizon is one of the two best sci-fi horror movie of the last decades.
It's claustrophobic, psychological, terrifying and extremely well acted and directed.
