Yes it has that oh we trapped and can't escape formula of most horror films. This film never really scared me, but I did find it a really intriguing what happened with the Event Horizon maiden voyage. 2022 rewatch and it hasn't aged to badly.
As good or even better than the films we mostly get thesedays. Movies like this prove you don't need a high budget and bunch of A listers to tell a interesting story.
