Review of Even the Rain (2011) by Matthew J — 27 Feb 2011
So far the best movie i've seen this year. A couple super cliche moments but overall it nailed everything (literally) it wanted to accomplish. Definitely worth seeing and sad to see it didn't make the final cut for the Oscars.
Something I really liked about it's film within a film structure is that the characters never broke the 4th wall. You were either watching a scene from the main movie or the interior, never to mix the two, pretty clever if you ask me.
