Review of Dead Poets Society (1989) by Jiyoung L — 13 Jun 2018
It was one day June that I first saw this movie. This movie that I saw in the school club class gave me many lessons.
1. Decide your own dream!
Looking at the main character Neil, I felt a lot. He grew up under a coercive father who values wealth and honor. He finds what he wants to do, but his father is very opposed. He ends up choosing death by such a father. Someone can give me advice in life. But no one could decide my way. So we must find what we want to do. And we must try to achieve it.
2.Carpe Diem!
It was a short sentence, but it was the most memorable passage for me.
If someone asks you to choose the best part of this movie...
When Mr. keating leaves.. It is a scene in which 'dead poet' students show respect for him.
"captain Oh, My captain".
