The film is set by a school that has long led a tradition with the fact that it is the best value and goal of entering the most prestigious university in the United States, living in a dormitory and having strict rules.

It was also a school where students could never make their own judgments and decisions. A teacher enters this school. The teacher is Mr. Keating. In the first class, Mr. Keating asks us to tear up our textbooks, deny them, and play hard in literature class.

The teacher tells children to enjoy the present, emphasizing the Carpe Diem. The seven children who followed Mr. Keating very well in this way gradually change their values. The students also secretly organize " Dead Poets Society, " where Mr.

Keating used to work in the past. They gather in caves to read poems and cherish their own dreams and hopes. But Neil, who is about to be an actor, says his parents were very opposed to him, and that teacher Keating should show his father your passion for dreams.

However, the parents ' opposition continued, and the parents ' objection led to suicide. But the responsibility goes to teacher Keating. Mr. Keating eventually leaves school, but the children end up yelling " Oh My Captain " on their desk the moment he leaves.

I felt so much emotion when I saw this movie The Dead Poets Society. I felt that this teacher like Mr. Keating was really great. The courage of such teaching methods at schools with this strict tradition was great, and the support of these friends ' dreams seemed so wonderful.

At the end, I almost cried. The scene where teacher Keating was about to leave was so sad and touching that the children went up on the desk and shouted " Oh My Captain. " If I were Mr. Keating, I would have thought it was very touching and commendable.

This movie was made based on a book, so I thought I wanted to read it.
