Review of Day of the Woman (1978) by Jon D — 28 Oct 2010
Dreadful acting , dreadful filming , terrible script and Probably one of the longest moments of sheer sexual violence to ever grace the silver screen , it's been cut to ribbons and reviled apon the world over , but this cult film is probably the greatest known of the video nasties , among films like cannibal holocaust and driller killer it's ripped itself a name in the soft skin of Hollywood ,no matter how diabolical the acting this film is deliberately vile and revels in it's own disgust , and all in all a very powerful and important film , so much so it's still remembered dome 20+ years after it's release , cumin who will remember films like " saw " , "hostel" etc in decades time.
... A cult film that is as powerful in it's darkness as it is in it's lack of acting.
