Review of Day of the Woman (1978) by Jessica C — 22 May 2013

The only reason I give this one star at all is because the remake is ten times worse. Not only is it boring, it's stupid. All the characters are shallow (including the protagonist, who I felt little sympathy for) and tries to use rape as a very hypocritical justification for brutal murder without consequence.

Also, for an exploitation film, the content failed to provoke any feelings of shock or disgust like most of these types of exploitation films attempt to do.
