Review of Cloverfield (2008) by Lauren H — 04 Sep 2012
A fresh voice in the all so cliched, run-down, shallow genre of late that was once known as Horror. Cloverfield combines uncertainty with a shaky, hand-held camera direction style that really seems to get your adrenaline pumping at times.
You honestly feel the character's panic. You don't know what it is; you don't even necessarily know where it is at times. All you know is that it's there and you have to get away from it - quickly.
