Review of Cloverfield (2008) by Caleb B — 14 Feb 2018

Out of all the found footage movies I have seen, this is probably the best one. Yes the characters are not developed to their full potential and parts such as about the first 18 minutes can be boring, it is quickly made up by the fast paced thrill ride this movie is.

I love how the movie is shot with with a camera showing their point of view during the incident. It can be scary and tense at moment, given with a very well shot surrounding. The monster awesome with every shot and scary at every encounter.

I wish the movie could have been a little bit longer but for what it is I still love it. This movie is a solid 4 out of 5 stars for the great and fun experience it brought.
